Merrickville's Special Occasions
We have facilities to handle groups from 10 to 200 in our banquet and meeting rooms, including Merrickville's largest and most spectacular Ballroom. Our Ballroom is one of only 2 large rooms in North America that uses "Kings Truss" construction. This allows for a very large room, undisturbed by posts and pillers. The Ballroom features 15 foot stone walls, seating for 200, hardwood floors and an elegant country French decor overlooking the Historic Rideau Canal.
Also available is a private dining room for 60 people with custom chandeliers and original fir wood floors. A smaller room, for private dinners or meetings, is tucked away in the south-west corner.
Specializing in banquets and receptions, the Baldachin Ballrooms offer a wide variety of services and appointments including 6,000 sq. ft. of understated elegance.
Naturally, our experienced staff would be pleased to assist you with planning your special event. We are happy to provide you with sample menus, or to provide special requests, including organic options, to meet all your requirements. High speed internet connectivity is available, as are a number of other facilities usefull to hosting functions.
Don't forget, we have rooms available in the Inn for those wishing to stay the night.
